FA-125.2 Compact Class D Power Amplifier Architect & Engineering Specs The amplifier shall be a 2-channel configuration of Class D design housed in a 1/2 RU metal chassis with a metal front. The front panel shall be equipped with recessed input levels potentiomters and a multi-color LED Status indicator for each channel (Green:Input Signal, Flashing Amber:Limit, Flashing Red: Clip, Solid Red: Mute, Solid Red (2 adjacent channels): Protect). There shall be a front panel Power button that can switch between Power On and Standby Modes with an LED backlight to indicate status (Solid-ON, Blinking-Standby/Sleep). The amplifier's rear panel shall be equipped with 3.5mm removeable Balanced Euroblock connectors for each input. There shall also be a removeable 3.5mm Euroblock connector for DC level control per channel, as well as a standby port and a GPO fault output. A set of DIP switches per channel allow a selectable 80Hz HPF and clip limiter to be switched on or off. There shall also be a DIP switch for selecting overall input gain of -10dBv or +4dBu and also DIP switches for front panel lockout and standby port polarity (NO/NC). The speaker outputs shall be a 2-pole 5mm removeable Euroblock for each channel, movable to either the LowZ or HiZ terminals depending on the selected power mode. The rear and side panels shall be perforated and a single variable-speed fan shall be mounted internally for side-to-rear airflow to enable proper cooling. There shall be an IEC power connection and the unit shall be supplied with the region-appropriate power cable. The amplifier shall have a built-in DSP that automatically activates a limiter for each channel before the onset of clipping and also an 80Hz HPF when HiZ mode is selected. The amp shall enter a pre-sleep (standby) mode after 15 minutes of inactivity and a full sleep mode after 29 minutes of inactivity in order to minimize power consumption when not is use. The amp shall resume normal operations instantly upon receiving an input signal (wake). A USB type-C port is accessible on the rear panel for firmware updates. The amplfier shall be capable of driving up to 125W @ 4 or 8 Ohms per channel and may be switched to operate at 70V or 100V. Each pair of adjacent channels shall be capable of power-sharing, driving up to 250W total between both channels. The amplifier shall have a universal power supply capable of operating from 100-240VAC 50/60Hz and will have a current consumption @ 1/8 continuous rated output of 1.27A @ 4 Ohms. The amplfier housing shall measure 8.66" W x 1.72" H x 10.32" D ,with a net weight of 3.55 lbs. Optional acessories shall be: FA-1.2RM single/dual rack-mount kit FA-TWB table/wall mount bracket The amplfier shall be called the Ashly FA-125.2
