FX-500.4 Compact Class D Power Amplifier Architect & Engineering Specs The amplifier shall be a 4-channel configuration of Class D design housed in a 19" 2 RU metal chassis with a metal front. The front panel shall be equipped with a soft power button and multi-color LED indicators for Status, Input, Output, Network & WiFi. The amplifier's rear panel shall be equipped with 4 x mono Unbalanced phono connectors as well as 4 x 3.5mm removeable Balanced Euroblock connectors for each input. There shall also be a removeable 8-pin 3.5mm Euroblock connector for GND(T),Standby/Mute polarity, GND(V) VC1, VC2, VC3/TIn, VC4/TO & 3.3V, all assignable in software. The four speaker outputs shall be on 2 x 4-pole 4.6mm removeable Euroblock, with either the LowZ or HiZ terminals used (depending on the selected power mode). Their shall be a 2-channel SPDIF stereo digital Input & Output, both on RCA phono connectors, used for digitally bridging two FX amps. There shall also be an RJ45 Ethernet adapter for network connectivity, and WiFi function is also available. The rear and side panels shall be perforated and a single variable-speed fan shall be mounted internally for side-to-rear airflow to enable proper cooling. There shall be an IEC power connection and the unit shall be supplied with the region-appropriate power cable. The amplifier shall have a built-in DSP that is accessed via a browser-emabledd device via Ethernet or WiFi. THe DSP shall be a 4 In x 4 Out configuration for this model. All unit settings may be accessed and edited via this GUI interface. The adjustable parameters shall include gain, metering, input source select for each input (Mic/Line/Generator). Zones with Input channel select, Compression, VC volume & GPI assignments per zone. Output settings incude: Routing, 10-band parametirc EQ, Delay & Speaker Presets (including: Crossover/Gain, Speaker EQ, FIR Filters, Driver Alignment Delay, Polarity, Limiter & Amp Outputs Mode) per output. General Settings inlcude: System & Device info, Backup & Restore, Power Management (Standby & Sleep/wake functions may be set to manual/remote or automatic), GPIO assignments, LAN & WiFi. The amplfier shall be 4 amp channels each capable of driving up to 500W @ 2/4 Ohms, 250W @ 8 Ohms or 320W @ 25V per channel and may be switched to operate at 70V or 100V with 2 x 1,000W by bridging pairs. Each pair of adjacent channels shall be capable of power-sharing, driving up to 750W total across two channels or with a single channel driven per pair @ 2 Ohms. The amplifier shall have a universal power supply capable of operating from 100-240VAC 50/60Hz and will have a power consumption @ 1/8 continuous rated output of 300W @ 4 Ohms.
